Sarah & Richard's Travels

Wow......... time flies folks!!! Already a month has past now, I have been home for arround 4 weeks in Boalsert (Bolsward) and time has gone quick. It was quite hard to addapt to the 'old' life style as I am used to the London rush/stress and time has stood still here, don't get me wrong; you can imagine that you can't compare Boalsert with London. Well...... if you can....... go ahead and make some awesome story!

Sarah has been travelling arround Europe with her parents who came over from New Zealand. They have been travelling arround Czech Republic and I am sure they would have had a nice time over there and last week Friday they took the night train from Cesky Krumlow towards Whein am Rhein and a day later by train to Basel. They spent some time at Lugano and headed yesterday to Zurich where Sarah will depart for Cologne tommorow.

Tomorow it will be the big day that we will start our "BIG TRIP" we will meet each other at Cologne-Bonn Airport in Germany where we will sleep the night and on saturday we will board for St. Petersburg our first checkpoint of the trip. Depending on the how nice St. Petersburg is we planned to stay there arround 4 to 5 days.

I will go by car to Arnhem where I will board the ICE NS Highspeed train towards Frankfurt; I will get off at Cologne hauptbahnhoff. Arnhem - Cologne is only 1,5 hour by train, which isn't to bad as Dutch public transport is s*cks. In Cologne I will walk arround for a couple of hours because Sarah will only land at 10pm therefore I have some time too kill and I will spent some time in lovely Cologne. Once Sarah has landed I will wait for here and we will find some quite space to sleep and in the morning we will board the plane!!
