Phu Quoc Island
We had last night in Rach Gia which is a pretty average town with not much happening and this morning took the fast ferry to Phu Quoc island which only took 2 1/2 hours. THe island is 45km from Vietnam and only 15km from Cambodia who actually claim the island so there's a big military base at the north of the island, hopefully not needed while we're here!!
It's been raining here this afternoon, but we've already spied out where the Pina Colada's served in pineapples are to be found and checked out the beach and our pool! Yay. We've bagged a quote 'SHOCK price at the Kim Hoa resort so hopefully the weather will be clear tomorrow for some R+R on the beach and some cocktails by the pool...this is the life...
